Migration
Migration reflects a season of change, one that mirrors my own journey. The three birds represent motion, freedom, and transition. Like them, I’m heading into something new. A new job, a new town. Not unfamiliar, but still a shift. And with that shift comes growth.
The stars, subtle but present, hint at the memories we carry. Like real stars, their light comes from the past, reminding us of where we’ve been even as we move forward.
The number three continues to show up in my work. It’s a quiet nod to my siblings, to my faith, and to the balance I often seek in life. The middle bird sits inside a rustic circle, symbolizing my time in Scottsbluff and the personal growth that happened there. The other two birds, sharing colors, reflect the place I’m returning to. Same place, new chapter.
Migration is about movement, but also about identity. It’s a visual reminder that even when we leave a place, parts of it stay with us. And sometimes, the return holds more meaning than the departure ever did.
